Imperial Stretch Ceilings were appointed by AQ Construction to refurbish a large illuminated stretch ceiling installation within the retail concourse at Heathrow Terminal 2.

Overview
The existing stretch ceiling system and failing LED lighting were carefully removed before the installation of new 24V Tunable White LED lighting and compatible drivers, fully integrated with the existing lighting control system.
The project covered approximately 230m² and included the installation of over 1,700 linear metres of LED lighting, delivering significantly improved lighting consistency, reliability, and performance across the space.
Following completion of the lighting upgrade, we manufactured and installed 16 bespoke printed stretch ceiling panels, recreating the original architectural design with a refreshed modern finish.
